Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are filled with excitement as our CHUM Christmas Toy Drive Kick-Off takes place on Monday, November 17th. The hallways are already brimming with Christmas cheer and the wonderful sight of toy donations generously given by our school community.
Students are asked to arrive by 6:45 a.m. on the morning of the event. Entrance will be through the side doors to the left of the main entrance, where a teacher will be ready to guide parents into the gym and direct students to their classrooms to await their performance time.
If your child was selected by random draw to be part of the audience, please remind them to bring their ticket and head to the gym after putting their belongings away in their classroom.
We are expecting a large number of parents and community guests to join us for this special celebration. To accommodate everyone, the back playground of the school will be open for additional parking.
The event will run for approximately two hours. Please note that this is not our annual Christmas concert; information about our December concert will be shared with families later this week. Our CHUM Kick-Off will, however, feature several songs from our upcoming concert and showcase the wonderful talent and enthusiasm of our students.
As we come together to give and celebrate, may this event remind us of the true spirit of Christmas, faith, hope, and love shared through generosity. Thank you for helping us make a difference in the lives of children and families in need this season.
